Online options need a ready Stripe connection and an eligible appointment. Record outside payments only after receiving them.

How to use it

  1. Business users open Booking settings, enable Stripe payments and Offer flexible appointment payments, and save. Check that the Stripe connection is ready. On the confirmed appointment, set the agreed service total and enable online payments for this client.
  2. Clients open their appointment link and review the deposit, service total, payments received, and remaining balance shown there.
  3. If online balance payments are enabled, choose a supported amount and continue to secure checkout. Return later to make another payment when you choose.
  4. For cash, Venmo, or another agreed outside method, the business records the received payment on the appointment. Review the balance before collecting again.

What to know first

  • Voluntary partial payments do not create automatic scheduled card charges. Each online payment can be $0.50 to $10,000 and cannot exceed the outstanding balance.
  • Buy-now-pay-later options in Stripe checkout depend on business setup, region, transaction, and customer eligibility. Showing an installment message does not guarantee approval or a particular provider.
  • Online balance payments require the account-level flexible-payment setting, a ready Stripe connection, a confirmed appointment, an agreed total, and permission to pay online for that visit. Review the checkout's actual fees and terms before accepting financing.

How it connects

Appointment payments feed the balance and financial records. Your Dino subscription is a separate bill from what your clients pay for services.

A useful habit

Business users can control installment advertising in booking settings. Explain whether you mean flexible advance payments or a checkout financing offer so clients know what to expect.

Common questions

Can a client choose how much and when to pay?

Yes, when the business enables Offer flexible appointment payments in Booking settings, has a ready Stripe connection, and enables online payments with an agreed total on a confirmed appointment. The client can make supported partial payments through the private appointment link up to the remaining balance. This does not create automatic scheduled card charges.

Are Stripe financing installments guaranteed for every client?

No. Financing options depend on the connected business, region, transaction, and client eligibility. The client must review what is actually offered in checkout and its terms. An installment notice on the booking page does not guarantee approval.

Can clients pay cash, Venmo, or the rest at their visit?

Arrange the method with the business. The business can record a received outside payment on the appointment so the remaining balance reflects it. Recording a Venmo or cash payment in Dino does not move money through that service.

Can a business turn off installment advertising?

The business can control installment messaging in booking settings. That display setting is separate from enabling flexible online payments for a particular appointment and from financing eligibility at checkout.
