Outside calendar updates need a healthy connection; downloaded calendar files are one-time copies.

How to use it

  1. In Calendar, select Month, Week, or Day and move to the date you need. Open an appointment to see its details.
  2. Business users can open Calendar setup to review working hours, blocked time, and connection status.
  3. Use a calendar subscription for ongoing updates in a compatible calendar app. Clients can find calendar options through their appointment link.
  4. Use an appointment calendar download for a one-time copy. Where available, connect Google and review its status or use Refresh now for a manual check.

What to know first

  • A downloaded calendar file is a snapshot and does not keep itself updated.
  • A subscription updates when the receiving calendar app refreshes it; Dino cannot promise instant refreshes in Apple, Outlook, or another app.
  • Direct Google updates and outside busy-time protection require a configured, connected Google account. Busy-time import currently checks one selected Google calendar, or the primary calendar, for the next 30 days. Review later dates and other calendars directly, and check the last refresh status. A subscription is not two-way availability syncing.

How it connects

Availability and blocked time affect booking choices. A connected Google account can send bookings out and bring outside busy times in when the connection is healthy.

A useful habit

Treat subscription URLs like private links. If appointments look stale, check the source appointment, the app's refresh behavior, and any connection warning before creating duplicates.

Common questions

Can I see a full month in calendar boxes?

Yes. Open Calendar and choose Month. Week and Day views provide more room to inspect a busy schedule. Open an appointment from the calendar to see its details.

Will Apple or Outlook calendar update instantly?

A subscribed calendar updates when Apple, Outlook, or another receiving app refreshes the feed. Dino cannot force an instant refresh. The separate Google connection supports direct updates when it is configured and connected. A downloaded file is a one-time snapshot.

Does a calendar subscription block outside busy times in Dino?

No. A subscription displays Dino events in a compatible calendar app; it does not import that app's other events. A healthy direct Google connection can import busy times from one selected calendar, or the primary calendar, for the next 30 days. Check the refresh status in Calendar setup and review later dates or other calendars directly.
