How to use it

  1. Open AI settings in the intended business to choose Simple, Copilot, or Smart and review the described behavior. The optional receptionist has separate controls on this page.
  2. In Automatic receptionist & FAQ, write approved public answers, choose whether to show the FAQ, and enable website chat or incoming text replies if wanted. Save approved answers & settings before leaving.
  3. Open Settings, then Profile & services, to review your identity, pricing, policies, voice preferences, and custom instructions. Use Save Profile for profile edits and Save Rules for custom rules.
  4. Manage working hours in Calendar and appointment requirements in Booking settings. Keep those saved details consistent with your public answers.
  5. Review conversations and approval requests when they appear. Test a routine question and a request for a person before relying on an automated workflow.

What to know first

  • In AI settings, mode changes and individual rule changes save when you make them. Use the Save controls for the overall upsell and proactive settings, and wait for confirmation before leaving.
  • Assistant settings alone do not configure a live messaging provider or guarantee that a conversation becomes a confirmed booking.
  • The assistant can need human review. Do not rely on it to make unsupported medical, payment, or service promises.

How it connects

The public receptionist uses approved FAQs and selected public business information. Your broader assistant has separate business context and permissions. Calendar holds working hours, and booking, payments, and intake keep their own checks and completion steps.

A useful habit

Write a short answer to your five most common client questions first. Clear business facts are more useful than a long, vague instruction.

Common questions

Can I stay in control when using the AI assistant?

Choose the available assistant behavior in AI settings. Update business information, policies, and custom instructions under Settings, then Profile & services; manage working hours in Calendar. Review conversations and approval requests that need your judgment. The assistant does not remove the separate requirements for a confirmed appointment, payment, or signed waiver.
